Dr. Sachin Sharma is Associate Professor (Big Data Analytics) at Adani Institute of Digital Technology Management (AIDTM).
Dr. Sachin Sharma is also a mentor at Atal Incubation Center –Gujarat Technological University supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India. He has over 11 years of experience in academics, research organizations and industry. His main research interests are in the field of AI, Computer Vision and Blockchain. He has written books on ABS implementation using fuzzy logic-based controller and fundamentals of image processing. He has also authored numerous articles related to image processing, digital signal processing, and intelligent transportation systems. He holds one patent also.
He received the Rashtriya Vidya Gaurav Puraskar and Young Scientist award from ministers of India on behalf of Indian Solidarity Council for doing excellent work in research and education. He received best Mentor award for the project " AI in Everyday Hygiene: To Detect Contamination in Water Using Image Processing and Computer Vision Methods" which stood first at SIC 2018 in Children’s Creativity / Innovation Category and also received a prize money from Chief Minister of Gujarat on behalf of Education Department of Gujarat (India). He received merit scholarship and a medal for coming first in M.Tech. Got the first prize in a national level Aatmanirbhar hackathon organized by SSIP BVM (Government of Gujarat), National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) in the Medicine and Health category. Got a special mention award and prize money in the “Fight Corona Ideathon” organized by AICTE (India) in the educators category. He is a member of professional societies, including IEEE, ISTE and SAE
